Retail & Operations Specialist
Location: Saint Rose, Louisiana (On-site 4 Days + 1 Remote Day)
About the Role
We seek a Retail & Operations Specialist to support daily operations, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure smooth coordination across customer service, order fulfillment, and showroom activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working closely with the Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Showroom Support:
- Deliver outstanding customer service across email, phone, and social media channels.
- Assist customers with showroom appointments, including purchases, checkouts, and packaging.
- Prepare draft invoices and process product returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Process retail and wholesale website orders accurately and on time using Shopify.
- Track and manage inventory with spreadsheet templates, ensuring timely stock replenishment.
- Product Management:
- Organize and track jewelry pieces for photoshoots, keeping them separate from active inventory.
- Maintain website product pages, ensuring accurate details and updated images after monthly photoshoots.
- Event Support:
- Assist in planning and executing up to six pop-up events annually and monthly virtual trunk shows.
- Represent the brand at events, supporting setup, operations, and customer interactions.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in weekly check-ins with the CEO and monthly team meetings.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience.
- Monitor customer reviews sharing feedback with the team to foster growth.
Qualifications
- Ability to work on-site 4 days a week, with one optional remote day from a company-covered coworking space in Mid-City.
- Familiarity with Shopify (preferred) and proficiency in Google Sheets for inventory management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to attend and assist with pop-up events, including occasional weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drop off orders with USPS or UPS as needed.
What We Offer
Compensation:
- First 3 Months (Training Period): $18/hour for 35–40 hours/week.
- Second 3 Months: $20/hour upon demonstrated progress.
- Next 3 Months: $22.50/hour with successful performance and growth.
- Salaried Position Eligibility: After 1 year of consistent performance, you will be eligible for a salaried role with additional bonuses.
